Visitation Frequently Asked Questions
- When are visiting hours?
We encourage family and friends to visit between 8:00am and 8:30pm
- How can I get a Covid-19 test?
Families can request at home COVID-19 tests at www.covidtests.gov
- Do I have to wear a mask?
Yes. All visitors are required to wear a facemask, which covers the nose and mouth. New York State’s health guidelines remain in effect for nursing homes and health care settings, per New York State Department of Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines
- Where can I visit?
Visitors may visit in the resident’s room or in our pavilion area outdoors.
- Can I visit in the dining room, therapy gym or activities room?
In order to maintain social distancing from other residents, visitors and staff, do not visit in areas where residents congregate (e.g. dining room, lounges). Please do not attend activities with residents.
- Am I able to visit on other floors or with other residents?
Please limit visitation to your loved one only. Please do not visit with anyone other than your loved one. This includes other residents and visitors.
Visitors are required to follow infection control measures, including social distancing and mask usage. We reserve the right to ask visitors who are not following these principles to leave the facility.
Please note that these requirements are subject to change based on future NYS Department of Health mandates.
